DAY O1

Meet by guide at the hotel lobby OR Sandakan airport – Transfer to Selingan/Libaran Island. – proceed to jetty for boat to Selingan Island – Check in to Island Chalet – Free at own leisure – lunch – free – Dinner – Turtle landing observation (on notification by park’s ranger)- overnight at Island chalet.

 

DAY 02

Breakfast – Return to mainland – explore surrounding flora and fauna – Continue journey to Sukau – Lunch – Short briefing on Kinabatangan wildlife sanctuary – Cruise along the popular Menangul tributary in search for proboscis monkey and other wildlife – Dinner and overnight at Sukau River lodge 0r similar.

 

DAY 03

Breakfast – depart for Sepilok Orangutan rehabilitation center – observation of feeding for young and semi wild orangutan at platform – A walk in the lowland tropical rainforest or watch nature video program at nature education centre. – Return to Sandakan – Lunch – Tour of Sandakan town and its suburb – Transfer to hotel or airport for onwards flight to Kota Kinabalu. (Breakfast/Lunch)
