DAY 01

Meet by guide upon arrival at Kota kinabalu International airport and transfer to hotel –

2.00pm

Pick up at hotel lobby & depart for Kota Kinabalu city tour. – Tours begin with the introductory tour of Kota Kinabalu city, the State capital of Sabah. – Visit to signal hill for an overview of the city and the marine park.  Pass through Likas residential area to photo stop at Wisma Tun Datu Mustapha (31 storey high Sabah foundation building at Likas Bay), University Malaysia Sabah and the City Mosque, Heading back to Kota Kinabalu and visit Poh Tih Tse Buddhist Temple and the State Museum which is located on Bukit Istana Lama, (a hill behind the State Mosque). This museum was built in the longhouse style of the Rungus and Murut tribes. The Museum has a wealth of historical and tribal treasures and handicraft of the indigenous people. Finally, tour last at Filipino market where you can pick up cheap and unique handicrafts, souvenirs and foodstuffs. Transfer to hotel

 

6.45pm

Pick up at hotel lobby for dinner at a local restaurant with cultural show performance. – Return to hotel & overnight.

 

Day o3

Breakfast

7.00am – pick up from hotel lobby and proceed on journey to Kota Kinabalu park. Along the main highway to Mount Kinabalu, kiulu river rafting and the entire district on the east coast of Sabah, stop by at kampong Telibong, batu 21, Jalan Telibong, Tamparuli, district of Tuaran for visit to upside down kampong house. This is the first of its kind in South East Asia. You will be able to view a traditional Sabah Kampung house, fully equipped with kitchen, living room, bedrooms, toilets and veranda in a new perspective – upside down! Continue journey to Kota Kinabalu Park which is approximately 2 hours leisure drive and 83km to the east of Kota Kinabalu, passed through Crocker range with scenic countryside view, local villages and rice fields. Stopover at Pekan Nabalu  (local market) before reaching Kinabalu park headquarters, a world heritage site and the highest mountain in Malaysia. The park is the home to more than 1,200 species of montane orchids, 300 species of birds, rare pitcher plants and rhododendrons. After an early lunch, proceed to Poring hot springs, which is a bathtub fed by a sulphurous underground spring and offer gentle relief for tired muscles and believed to have therapeutic properties. You can also visit the orchid garden that contains a wide selection of local species, some of which are endemic to the area and very rare. Free to do the canopy walkway, suspended 157.8 metres in length and 41 metres high. You will be rewarded with the new insights of the tropical forest and eye to eye views of its treetop denizens. Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu in the mid-afternoon with drop off at hotel. – In the evening, dinner at a local restaurant.

Breakfast – check out & free at own leisure till pickup for transfer to airport for onwards flight.
