Basically a village under one roof, the longhouse is a collection of individual family apartment built side by side and sharing a common verandah, with some longhouses harbouring up to a hundred families.
Day 01
Meet by guide at hotel lobby for your tour to Batang Ai Iban Longhouse. The journey to the destination will take approximately four hours with stopover at Serian Town, lunch at the midway bazaar of Lacau. After lunch, the guide will advise you as to where/what to buy gifts for the longhouse communities. Continue your journey to Batang Ai jetty where you will board a motorized longboat for your journey to Batang Ai Longhouse Resort cross the Batang Ai Hydro Dam. Check in to resort free at own leisure and overnight. (Lunch)

Day 02.
Breakfast at resort.
Morning, by boat visit to Iban longhouse. You will be guided through the longhouse, observing them doing their daily chores, will be entertained with the Iban’s warrior dance “Ngajat” while enjoying with the “Tuak” – rice wine. To resting park for lunch cooked in bamboo and relax or swimming in the river. Return to Kuching via the same route. (Hotel Breakfast/Lunch)
